Tales of Thibadeau

Welcome to Tales of Thibadeau, I hope my sweet family enjoys seeing and remembering all of our antics and adventures. There is never an ordinary day in our home, and even if there was I would want to remember every second of it. I love my family and thank Heaven for them everyday. XOXO, Selina

Freeze Frame

Maddy is always ready to pose for a picture. She is so talented at dancing and is an absolute natural. When she is on stage, I find myself being envious of her abilities. I got no rhythm.

Katie is tired of my picture taking and wouldn't pose until I forced her! She, too, excels at dance and she has the rock hard muscles to prove it. She is so darling on the stage. She is so miniature and full of attitude and cool confidence that one can't help but watch her continually.

This is the girls' second year in dance at Dance Dimensions Studio. It is expensive, but worth every penny to see these stars shine!

The Cash Stash

Money is very, very - did I mention VERY- tight right now. But we still like to have fun... and a lot of times our kind of fun includes cold, hard cash. Sooo, this is a picture of our "Cash Stash".
I began one last May and was able to to put away enough money to pay for our annual trip to Lagoon and an additional stop to The Skidmore Family Reunion in Zion's National Park.
Even though we don't see any vacations on the horizon, we decided to start another jar in hopes of one. We talked as a family that the money put into the jar was under no circumstances to be taken out until we decided what it was to be used for. We also discussed the possibility that it may have to be used to pay a bill, buy groceries, or even donated to a worthy cause.
Every time I see this jar, I am reminded of the many blessings in my life that have no monetary value and I am grateful.
