This says a lot about me that I am even taking the time to post this. BUT, in my defense, I have a weird obsession with my hair. I like it big, I like hairspray and I used to be blond until about 5 months ago. Really blond. Times being lean, I decided to go a bit darker, but left quite a few highlights in it. Well, it grew about and just looked bad. AND I found some grey hairs. Not a good day. My sweet sister-in-law offered to do my hair for a steal of a deal in her fancy new salon. I decided that if I was going to dark, I just need TO GO DARK.
So, this is the new me. This is quite a change from past years, I was a bleached blond, now I am a Vampire? Vixen? Elvira?Melisa, thank you so much for doing my hair, I love it. Ami said I don't look I am from the 80's any more... It still shocks me a bit when I walk by the mirror - Oh! Yes, that's me.
Now, I know my family and has many more worries and trials than that of my hair, but, like I said this post was all about me.

You seem to be one of those annoying people who can go any color and still look good. I'm jealous. Because of my light skin tone, I am better as a blonde. Of course you know that I am no longer a natural blonde. My highlights are seriously grown out. I touched them up myself with some help from Sally's Beauty Supply. Yikes. Needless to say, you're not the only one obsessed with hair.

I like you with dark hair. Hair (especially the little I have) is just so hard. I identify. And don't get started on the grays. . . . just you wait.
HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Not just kind of like it, I LOVE IT!!!!!! The color is so beautiful, and I really think that it totally lights up your face! O.k., did I mention THAT I LOVE IT!!!! You know though, really you are so beautiful, that it could be green and still look stunning! Love you!

I like it Selina. It's not THAT dark. Maybe coloring is the way to go for me. I discovered not just a few gray hairs, but many. I was shocked and asked a friend how long it had been like that. She replied, "As long as I've known you?" (about three years)
Obviously, I am not hair obsessed. And my hair is still pretty lite - so it's not really noticeable. LOL
I need to send you my pictures of my hair! I died it black and I will never go back to whatever my real color is. My mom and dad said I look a bit like Grandma Westerberg, that is a wonderful compliment!
